U.S. Cellular is ready for a status update. It may not carry the LG G3 flagship smartphone yet, but that will change in October.

The regional carrier will sell the G3 for $99.99 with a two-year contract, and for $20.84 per month for 24 months, with $0 down. This latter option adds up to $500 and change to buy the phone outright.

Getting the phone fills a G3-size gap in US Cellular’s lineup. The first US phone to have a 1,440p ultra-HD screen and laser-focused auto-focus, the G3 is a model worth selling, especially since the 5.5-inch handset will do battle against the upcoming — and pricier — 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 4 .
