Launched in Australia last month, the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 4 from Samsung was due to go on sale on October 29, with pre-orders beginning on October 15. The Note Edge on the other hand was due to hit retail shelves on November 5.

Samsung Australia has just issued a statement delaying the availability of both of the phones: the Note 4 will now be available from November 5 and the Edge has slipped to November 12.

Update: Samsung has again revised the shipping date of the Note Edge, with the product slipping back even further to November 25.

In its entirety, Samsung’s statement reads:

“Samsung Electronics Australia has revised the on sale date for the Galaxy Note 4 to Wednesday November 5 and the Galaxy Note Edge to Wednesday November 12. Pre-orders will be available from Wednesday October 15. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers.”

We’ve reached out to Samsung to get clarification on what’s causing the delay and we’ll update when we hear back, as well as if any carriers announce that the delay will change any pre-order timings.

Update November 7:Added new information about the revised shipping date for the Note Edge.
