AT&T gets a new tablet to add to its roster. On Monday, the carrier announced that the Asus Memo Pad 7 LTE will go on sale April 10.
The 7-inch slate features a 1,280×800-pixel display and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

It has a modest 16GB of internal storage, with a microSD slot for more, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel chipset, it also comes with 1GB RAM.
The Asus Memo Pad 7 LTE costs $175 at full retail; qualified customers can spread payments at $8.75 per month for 20 months using AT&T’s tablet installment plan.
For a bundled deal, AT&T will also sell you the Memo Pad 7 LTE for 99 cents when you also buy a smartphone — any smartphone. There are just two catches: you’re agreeing to a two-year service agreement, and the handset must pair with an AT&T Next plan.
In a first for AT&T, the tablet will also be made available as part of its GoPhone prepaid service. Starting April 24, customers can prepay for 2GB of data for $25 per month. Those who need more data can also choose from 5GB ($50 per month) and 8GB ($75 per month) options.
