We really enjoy French maker Olivier C’s awesome “Star Wars” quadcopter casings, and his latest build based on the Galactic Empire’s TIE Fighter might be one of his best yet.

In a new video posted to YouTube on Tuesday, Olivier showed off his TIE Fighter drone in flight, and man does it look menacing. Olivier’s build is just as impressive as his other and looks just like the numerous TIE Fighters from the “Star Wars” movies. All it’s missing is some functional laser cannons to take on the enemy in combat.
Because of how many TIE Fighters the Galactic Empire had in its arsenal, the TIE fighter became an unofficial symbol of the Empire, and it’s about time Olivier built one of these things to add to his growing collection.
You can watch the TIE Fighter quadcopter’s test flight video above, which probably won’t be the last TIE Fighter flight you see this year. “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” lands in theaters in Australia on December 17 and in the US and UK on December 18, and we’ll likely see some TIE Fighters taking on X-wings and other starships in the upcoming movie.
