Announced at CES 2015 and expected to ship this month, the Narrative Clip 2 wearable camera — the world’s most wearable, according to the company — got a big bump in features from the original . And now you can add one more feature to the list: video capture.
For $200 (approximately £130 or AU$245), the lightweight little clip-on camera continuously shoots 8-megapixel photos until you fill up its 8GB of built-in storage — enough for two days of pics. A double tap on the camera will also let you collect 10-second movie clips with audio in 1080p resolution.
That’s just the default setting, though. You can connect the camera wirelessly to a mobile device and use the Narrative app to adjust the clip length or just have it keep recording until you double tap it again. You can also remotely control the camera via the app.
You can check out a sample video below as well as the full details on Narrative’s site, where you can also preorder one if you like what you see. If you already ordered one, rest assured video capture will be enabled when yours arrives.
