Panasonic CES 2016 press conference: Join us Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT (live blog)

This story is part of CES 2016. Our editors bring you complete CES 2016 coverage and scour the showroom floor for the hottest new tech gadgets around.

Remember Panasonic? Well, not enough people do. Once it discontinued its best-in-class plasma TVs, the Japanese giant faded from the stage in many consumers’ minds.

But a new year means new opportunities, and Panasonic is taking to the stage at CES to share what’s new and notable. Expect the company to follow up on some of its announcements from last year’s IFA show in Berlin, with more news likely on its new OLED TV (shown here) and the 4K Blu-ray player teased at CES 2015.

Beyond that, we could see more fanciful products, such as 2015’s Smart Mirror concept, as well as more down-to-earth smart-home appliances and connected devices — not to mention cameras.

We’ll have complete live coverage of the entire event here at CNET, with a live blog and live video stream.
