A special NIA court remanded assistant police inspector Sachin Waze in police custody for 12 days on Sunday, a day after his late-night arrest in connection with the parking of an explosive-laden Scorpio near industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence in south Mumbai on February 25, as per TOI. 

2. 16,000 COVID Cases In Maha In 1 Day

Maharashtra recorded this year’s highest one-day spike of 16,620 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, which pushed its overall caseload to 23,14,413, while 50 deaths pushed the toll to 52,861, the health department said, as per PTI.
